Lucien Edward Forbes
is a defining 21st century global entrepreneur. His experiences
range from developing significant global projects around the globe
countries in a wide array of industries. Mr. Forbes serves as CEO
of both Forbes Group and Forbes Energy —two of the world’s
most dynamic companies. Mr. Forbes’ business successes include:
wireless telecom infrastructure in Russia: establishing one of the
largest fishing and processing companies in the world; and developing
a number of ports throughout Asia, Africa and South America.
He has consistently developed successful
business solutions and been first-to-market in a range of industries
across the globe.
Today, Forbes Energy is a leader in a new model of closed loop,
zero-environmental impact energy facilities. Presently, the Company
is developing a $500 million, 75 megawatt ethanol plant in the Dominican
Republic. The facility, scheduled to come on line in 2008, will
provide significant economic, energy and environmental benefits
to the Caribbean Basin.
Mr. Forbes makes his home in Newport, Rhode Island with his two
sons. He is a great supporter of the sport of lacrosse.

David Francis Considine

David Considine serves as CFO for Forbes Energy
where he has responsibility for all financial, accounting, and treasury
activity, as well as stockholder relations, and contract negotiations
involving business development projects. In addition, he is responsible
for managing the Company’s operational functions and ensuring
that the Company meets its corporate objectives and revenue-growth
goals.
During his tenure for Forbes Group, an affiliate company of Forbes
Energy, Considine has been responsible for banking negotiations and
compliance reporting, financial projections, and corporate financial
accounting, reporting, and tax consolidations.
His demonstrated successes and experiences are vast, having managed
complex financial transactions in more than a dozen countries, as
well as securing several subsidiary acquisitions and overseeing
the orderly integration of the acquisitions into the parent company
group.
David is a CPA having served as a managing partner in professional
accounting firms for more than 17 years.
Prior to joining Forbes, David was Vice President of Finance at the
largest wholesale supplier to supermarkets in New England and the
United States – a $1.4 billion concern.
He is a graduate of Bentley College, majoring in Accounting and Finance.

Matthew
J. Hassett

Matt Hassett joins Forbes Energy from Bank of
America’s Public Finance Group where he structured more than
$2 billion in transactions. At Forbes Energy, Matt serves as Director
of Business Development overseeing financing and strategic business
partnerships globally.
Prior to his experience in Bank of America’s Public Finance
Group, Matt served in the Premier Banking & Investing Division
of Bank of America and predecessor Fleet Bank in Boston.
Matt is highly experienced in financial markets; fixed income investment
banking, structured municipal products, and derivative fixed income
instruments.
Matt’s responsibilities include the acquisition and of management
of project finance and operating capital, the management of investors,
financial partners, financial risk and other development initiatives.
Matt received a BA in economics from Emory University and was a
member of the varsity men’s basketball team.
